Measurement: where every customer came from and what they cost
How do I know where my customers are coming from?
By installing measurement before you spend. Google Analytics and Tag Manager record where each visit came from, the pixel handles the social side, and every click on your contact button is counted. The result is a dashboard showing how many enquiries came in last month and what each one cost.
Almost every business we look at is already spending money online without knowing which part worked. There are ads running, a website and social profiles; when a customer walks in, nobody can say which of the three produced them.
That is not a reporting problem. Nothing was ever installed to record it. Which is why measurement is the first thing we build and comes before everything else: without it, every decision that follows is an opinion, and anyone can tell you things are going well.

Questions
What people ask before hiring us.
- Does this work if I already have Google Analytics?
- It is usually installed but not configured: it measures visits rather than events, so it tells you how many people passed through, not how many got in touch. The first thing we do is review what is there and what is missing.
- Do the accounts stay in my name?
- All of them, from day one. Analytics, Tag Manager and the pixel are created in your accounts and we join as users. If you ever work with someone else, you take everything with you.
- How much does it cost?
- It depends on how many pieces need measuring and how many tools you already have connected. We do not publish a price list because every business arrives at a different point; the closed number comes out of the audit, which is free.
- How often do reports arrive?
- Monthly, in plain language, covering the three or four things that changed. It is not a dashboard you have to learn to read.
